The veteran India batter first joined the Rajasthan Royals in the 2011 season of IPL and stayed with them till 2015. Rahane made a return to the franchise in the 2019 season and played with them till 2019. He joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2023 and stayed with them till the 2024 season, Rahane is the skipper for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing season.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin

The former India spinner joined the Chennai Super Kings in the 2008 season of IPL and stayed with them till 2015. Ashwin made the move to the Rajasthan Royals in 2022 and stayed with them till the 2024 season. His services were acquired by the Chennai-based franchise in the IPL auction last year and thus, he is featuring for them in the ongoing season.

The former Australia all-rounder joined the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural season of IPL back in 2008 and stayed with them till 2015. Watson later went on to join the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 season and stayed with them till 2020.

The former New Zealand seamer joined the Chennai Super Kings in the 2011 season of IPL, however that was the only campaign where he featured for them. Southee went on to join the Rajasthan Royals in the 2014 season and stayed with them till 2015.
