As India made it to the semifinal of the Champions Trophy 2025, Rohit Sharma achieved a massive feat which neither Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni could achieve during their captaincy.
India beat Australia by 4 wickets in the semifinal of the 2025 edition of the ICC champions Trophy. This marks the Men in Blue entering the final of the tournament for the 3rd consecutive time.

This victory marked a massive milestone for Rohit Sharma, as he became the first ever captain in history of cricket to reach the final of all four of the ICC tournaments.
For the first instance, Rohit Sharma led India to the final of the World Test Championship in June 2023.
Indian team also made it to the final of the ODI World Cup at home ground under the leadership of Rohit Sharma in November 2023.
Then under Rohit’s leadership, the Men in Blue made it to the T20 World Cup, and went all the way to lift the title in June 2024.
Now, within a year of the T20 World Cup win, Indian team under Rohit’s captaincy has now reached the final of ICC Champions Trophy in March 2025.
