Umme is a girl of Bangladesh origin. She completed her graduation from Minnesota University, United States, as software engineer. Umme’s family shifted to US when she was just 10-year-old. The couple met each other during a county match in 2010 when Shakib was playing for Worcestershire. They got married on December 12, 2012.
Shakib is considered the finest-ever cricketer to represent Bangladesh. Currently, Shakib ranks Number 1 in the all-rounders list in all the three formats of the game. He was also awarded the Wisden ‘Test Player of the Year’ in November 2009.
