Vaibhav Suryavanshi Creates History: Becomes First Indian player to achieve THIS record in Youth Test

After breaking lot of records, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has broken yet another record while batting for India in the Youth Test

A few days ago, India’s young batting sensation had created history by becoming the youngest player from the nation to secure a wicket in Youth Test. Now he has added to that record, as he has secured yet another record to his name in the same tournament. In the opening match against England, Vaibhav scored 56 off 44 balls in the second innings.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi started getting attention since his outings for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2025, and has been ever since known for his explosive batting style. However, recently, he also impressed with the ball as he took a wicket. Now, with his half-century, Vaibhav has become the first player under 15 years of age in cricket history to score a fifty and take a wicket in same a Youth Test.

With this feat, Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke the previous record held by Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who had done so at the age of 15 years are 167 days against Sri Lanka in 2013.
