‘We have spoken…’: Harbhajan Singh’s Honest response when asked about being Jealous of R Ashwin!

Harbhajan Singh and Ravichandran Ashwin- 2 of India’s greatest off-spinners- have constantly been center of attention on social media over their friendly rivalry. Even though Harbhajan and Ashwin played in two different eras in Indian team, there is a lot to be said about their relationship.

R Ashwin concluded his career as India’s second-highest wicket-taker, Harbhajan Singh has often spoken about how India has made use of their rank-turners in favour of the spinners over the last 5-7 years. However, a lot of people have claimed that Harbhajan is jealous of Ashwin’s achievements for the national team. Sitting together in a video shared by the Tamil Nadu’s spinner, both decided to end the debate.

“This whole jealousy bit, before I allow you to answer that, let me clarify something. People look at everything from their perspective. For example, if they are passing a comment on me, they believe that others would see the world through their eyes. Their comments that you (Harbhajan) are jealous of this person who is interviewing you today (Ashwin), what would that be about, Bhajji pa?” Ashwin said on his YouTube channel in a ‘Kutti Stories’ teaser.

“Do you think I am jealous of you? You are sitting with me today, and we have spoken at length. Do you think I am that kind of person?” said Harbhajan.
