The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Monday honoured Sachin Tendulkar by renaming the MCA Sports Complex at Kandivili in Mumbai after the Little Master as 'Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana'.
The event was hosted by former India skipper and cricket commentator Ravi Shastri. Various cultural extravaganza were arranged to felicitate the batting maestro. First up there was a group dance performance. It was followed by a Kishore Kumar medley performed by singer Shaan. It included songs like ‘mein hoon don’, ‘bach ke rehna re baba’, among others.
It was followed by a video testimony of former Indian cricketers and Tendulkar’s long-time teammates Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and Javagal Srinath.
