Martin Guptillc MS Dhoni b Bhuvneshwar Kumar 11 9 2 0 122.22
2.4
B Kumar to M Guptill, OUT! Kumar draws first blood! Guptill the dangerman is walking back. A very good delivery by Bhuvneshwar. He goes wide of the crease and lands it on a length around off, straightens after pitching. Guptill pokes at it away from his body and gets a faint outside edge to Dhoni who takes a good low catch. An early wicket for India, just what they needed. Bhuvi is all pumped up and so are the Indians. Guptill's poor record on Asian soil continues.
Colin Munrob Bhuvneshwar Kumar 10 17 0 1 58.82
6.6
B Kumar to C Munro, OUT! TIMBER! Munro is walking back and New Zealand are in big trouble here! Kumar is breathing fire! He gets his second. He bowls his special knuckle ball around middle, shapes in a touch. Munro tries to flick but gets an inside edge onto his pads and then onto the stumps. He was struggling against the inswingers and that has brought his downfall.
Kane Williamson (C)lbw b Jasprit Bumrah 3 14 0 0 21.43
5.4
J Bumrah to K Williamson, OUT! Bumrah gets the big fish! Williamson has once again got out cheaply. Bumrah comes steaming in and lands it on a length around off, jags back in a touch after pitching and also comes quicker off the surface. Williamson tries to work it around the corner but misses to get hit on the pads. The Indians appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Kane walks down to his partner and after having a chat decides to review. The replays show two reds and hitting is umpire's call. The decision stands, though New Zealand don't lose a review as it is umpire's call. Williamson's uncomfortable short stay comes to an end. This is also the first time since 2013 that he has had back-to-back single digit scores in ODIs. The visitors are in trouble here.
Ross Taylorc MS Dhoni b Hardik Pandya 21 33 2 0 63.64
15.6
H Pandya to R Taylor, OUT! A huge, huge wicket! The short ball has done the trick for Pandya. The in-form Taylor is the man walking back! Hardik bends his back and bangs it in as this one bounces more but down the leg side. Taylor still goes for the hook and gets a thin edge to the keeper. The players appeal and the umpire raises his finger but Taylor is seen walking even before the umpire gave his decision. A good gesture by him. Pandya is ecstatic. He has removed one of the heroes of the last game. New Zealand are now in disarray.
Tom Latham (W)b Axar Patel 38 62 2 0 61.29
29.1
A Patel to Tom Latham, OUT! The change of angle for Patel has done the trick! Latham's luck has finally ran out. Axar fires it full on leg stump. Latham once again goes for the sweep shot which he has been playing so well. He goes too across this time and misses the ball completely and the ball hits the middle pole. The 60-run stand which was looking good for New Zealand has come to an end. The centurion in the last game has not had the same impact in this game.
Henry Nichollsb Bhuvneshwar Kumar 42 62 3 0 67.74
37.5
B Kumar to H Nicholls, OUT! KABOOM! Kumar gets his third! He comes around the wicket and bowls it a tad fuller around off, shapes back in. Nicholls tries to drive but leaves a gap between bat and pad in doing so. The ball sneaks through and sends the leg stump for a ride. A lovely sight for a bowler. A good knock by Henry and also a free-flowing partnership comes to an end. He walks back dejected.
Colin de Grandhommec Jasprit Bumrah b Yuzvendra Chahal 41 40 5 1 102.5
43.1
Y Chahal to de Grandhomme, OUT! The dangerman, de Grandhomme is heading back to the dressing room! Brilliant bowling by Chahal! He gives it a nice loop outside off, turning away. Seeing the flight, de Grandhomme tries to go over the off side but gets an outside edge which lobs to Bumrah at short third man who takes it. A breezy innings by Colin comes to an end.
Mitchell Santnerc Virat Kohli b Jasprit Bumrah 29 38 2 1 76.32
48.5
J Bumrah to M Santner, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Bumrah bowls it full outside off, Santner tries to go over long off but does not quite get the elevation and hits it straight down the throat of Kohli who positions himself under it and takes it. A handy knock by Santner comes to an end.
Adam Milnelbw b Yuzvendra Chahal 0 1 0 0 0
43.2
Y Chahal to A Milne, OUT! That was plumb! Two in two for Chahal! He is now on a hat-trick! Again lovely bowling from the leg spinner. He bowls the slider on middle, which goes on with the arm. Milne prods forward in defense but he plays for the spin and there ain't any. He misses and the ball strikes his front pad. The Indians appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Milne, after a long chat with his partner decides to review. Replays show three reds and New Zealand lose the review. 8 down now, can India restrict them under 200?

Rohit Sharmac Colin Munro b Tim Southee 7 19 1 0 36.84
4.3
Tim Southee to R Sharma, OUT! Soft dismissal! Rohit must be really disappointed with himself. Fullish delivery on the pads, Sharma goes for the flick but the balance is not quite there. As a result, he is not able to keep the ball down. Colin Munro at squarish short mid-wicket pouches it safely at chest height. Ideal start for New Zealand.
Shikhar Dhawanc Ross Taylor b Adam Milne 68 84 5 2 80.95
29.2
A Milne to S Dhawan, OUT! Dhawan misses out on a century! Good length delivery outside off, Shikhar uses his feet and looks to go over extra cover but the bat turns in his hands. Hence, he ends up mistiming it to Ross Taylor in the same region who gobbles it up with ease. The century was there for the taking and the southpaw will be a little disappointed. He slowed down after Powerplay 1, might have got bogged down a touch. The steady 66-run stand comes to an end. Can the Kiwis build on this?
Virat Kohli (C)c Tom Latham b Colin de Grandhomme 29 29 3 1 100
13.5
de Grandhomme to V Kohli, OUT! The bowling change brings in the reward! De Grandhomme bowls a cross seam delivery on a length outside off. The Indian skipper does the mistake of fishing at it and ends up getting a faint nick. Latham behind the wickets takes a sharp catch. Kohli starts walking off as soon as he edged it. He is angry with himself as he fails to convert a promising start. Can the visitors trigger a collapse now?
Dinesh Karthiknot out 64 92 4 0 69.57
Hardik Pandyac Adam Milne b Mitchell Santner 30 31 2 1 96.77
40.1
M Santner to H Pandya, OUT! Pandya departs! He would be unhappy that he has failed to take his side over the finishing line. Juicy full toss on middle, Pandya looks to paddle sweep it but hits it straight to Milne at backward square leg who pouches it safely. Hardik usually doesn't play the sweep much and he departs attempting it. End of a decent knock from the all-rounder.
