Fakhar Zamanc Nathan Coulter-Nile b Billy Stanlake 14 12 2 0 116.67

B Stanlake to F Zaman, OUT! There goes the big-hitting Zaman! Stanlake has bounced out Fakhar. A short ball, on middle, the southpaw looks to pull but the ball keeps climbing on him. He gets a top edge which goes straight up in the air. Nathan Coulter-Nile calls for it from short extra cover and takes it calmly. Big wicket for Australia. Zaman was just beginning to go big.
Babar Azamnot out 68 55 5 1 123.64
Mohammad Hafeezc Ben McDermott b D'Arcy Short 39 30 2 2 130
13.5
D Short to M Hafeez, OUT! Hafeez departs, holing out to long on! Bonus wicket for Australia and a big one. Dropped short, turning in, The Professor goes back to pull it over long on but for once, his timing deserts him in this desert. He gets more height than distance and Ben McDermott takes it calmly at the ropes. Misses out on a half century, does Hafeez. Short, of all the people, brakes the 73-run stand.
Asif Alilbw b Adam Zampa 2 3 0 0 66.67
14.4
A Zampa to A Ali, OUT! Second wicket for Australia in the space of 6 balls! The big-hitting Asif Ali departs cheaply. The skidder from Zampa, Asif goes back to play to a ball he should have been forward to. Looks to flick but misses and is hit right in front of the stumps. Zampa appeals and the umpire raises his finger in a flash. Asif does not even bother reviewing that.
Hussain Talatc Aaron Finch b Andrew Tye 9 6 1 0 150
16.4
A Tye to H Talat, OUT! Finch takes a very good catch! Tye gets a wicket at the death. A length ball, on middle, Talat swings hard but perhaps the running a few balls ago has taken the gas out of him. He was panting while playing this shot and hence lacked some power. Miscued it but Aaron Finch at long on, timed his jump to perfection.
Faheem Ashrafc Glenn Maxwell b Andrew Tye 0 1 0 0 0
16.5
A Tye to F Ashraf, OUT! Caught at cover! Tye is on a hat-trick! Full and outside off, Ashraf looks to drive it through the covers but cannot quite keep it down. Ends up chipping it tamely to Glenn Maxwell at short extra cover who seldom drops such dollies.
Sarfraz Ahmed (C) (W)lbw b Billy Stanlake 0 2 0 0 0
17.2
B Stanlake to S Ahmed, OUT! Umpire's call it is when the ball hits the stumps and the decision stays as it is! Australia have three wickets in 4 balls. A length ball, around off, cutting in off the seam, Sarfraz hops across to flick but misses. He is hit right in front of the sticks and Stanlake appeals. The umpire upholds it and Sarfraz reviews it almost instantaneously. Hawk Eye shows the ball to be clipping the top of the bails, so the decision stays!
Shadab Khanc Ben McDermott b Billy Stanlake 1 2 0 0 50
17.5
B Stanlake to S Khan, OUT! That is the second wicket in the over and 4th in the last 2! A short ball outside off, Shadab looks to pull but the bounce gets big on him. Takes the top edge which goes towards fine leg. Ben McDermott circles to his left and takes it calmly.
Imad Wasimc Aaron Finch b Andrew Tye 0 1 0 0 0
18.1
A Tye to I Wasim, OUT! The procession continues. Wicket number 8 falls. Third for Tye in the space of 4 balls. Full and outside off, Wasim loosely chips it in the air and finds Aaron Finch at short extra cover.

I Wasim to A Finch, OUT! Sound of timber! Big blow to Australia. Smart bowling by Wasim. Once again he lets out an arm ball in line of the stumps. It's on the shorter side as it skids through the surface after landing. Finch again exposes his stumps as he attempts for the square cut but fails to make any connection. The stumps are broken and Pakistan are delighted.
D'Arcy Shortb Imad Wasim 4 2 1 0 200

I Wasim to D Short, OUT! Drags it on! Two wickets in the first over. You cannot ask for a better start! Another arm ball earning Imad a wicket. It skids away from the surface after landing, staying a touch low, Short stays back to turn it on the leg side but gets an inside edge back onto the sticks. End of a marvelous first over by Imad Wasim. He is back after around 12 months and has immediately left his mark.
Chris Lynnb Faheem Ashraf 14 15 2 0 93.33
5.2
F Ashraf to C Lynn, OUT! They are falling like nine pins here! 4th time in this innings the stumps have been rattled. Faheem Ashraf gets his second. Looks like Lynn has just missed a straight ball there. It is angled in from outside off onto the off pole. Lynn plays inside the line and misses to see his off stump being knocked over. The last recognized batsman is walking back and now one can surely say, it is GAME, SET AND MATCH!
Glenn Maxwellb Faheem Ashraf 2 7 0 0 28.57
3.3
F Ashraf to G Maxwell, OUT! Another batsman has been castled! No show from the Big Show and now Australia face an uphill task of chasing this down. A wild hoick there from Maxwell. Maybe a needless one, especially in the situation Australia are in. Ashraf bowls it full and on the stumps. Maxwell only manages to connect with thin air and the ball hits the middle pole. Australia have lost their third wicket in the Powerplay and not many teams win after losing three in the first six.
Ben McDermottrun out (Fakhar Zaman) 0 2 0 0 0
3.5
F Ashraf to Ben McDermott, OUT! McDermott is short! And Australia have lost no. 4. Brilliant, brilliant work from Zaman. This was pushed towards him at mid off. The batsmen set off for a run. He collects it, he has just one stump to aim at and hits the bull's eye at the non-striker's end. Have to mention, it is a tumbling throw by him. The players appeal and the umpire takes it upstairs. Replays roll in and it shows Ben's dive has not saved him. Pakistan all over the Aussies at the moment.
Alex Carey (W)c Sarfraz Ahmed b Imad Wasim 1 3 0 0 33.33
4.6
I Wasim to A Carey, OUT! Caught behind! Imad Wasim is delighted and copies Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark celebration. Ahem. Australia here are going down like a pack of cards. They are in danger of getting their lowest T20I score which is 79 against England in 2005 in Southampton. Nothing special with this delivery. It's full and outside off, skidding away from the batsman, Carey pushes at it tamely, away from his body, as he attempts to drive. But it takes the feather of his bat and Sarfraz behind hangs on to a sharp catch. Total decimation of the Aussies here.
Ashton Agarc Sarfraz Ahmed b Hasan Ali 19 23 2 0 82.61
12.4
H Ali to A Agar, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! End of Australia's best stand tonight. A frustrating one for Pakistan. Hasan Ali finally gets his man. Another slower ball outside off, Agar tries to cut but the ball takes the outside edge and settles into the mitts of the keeper. Ali gives Agar the stare as he walks off.
Nathan Coulter-Nileb Shadab Khan 34 29 6 0 117.24
16.5
S Khan to N Coulter-Nile, OUT! That is it! Nathan loses his bat and Australia lose the battle. It is bowled on the stumps, Nathan swings but misses to see the ball hit the middle pole. Customary handshakes taking place as PAKISTAN WIN THE GAME BY 66 RUNS!
Adam Zampac Hasan Ali b Shaheen Afridi 3 7 0 0 42.86
14.3
S Afridi to A Zampa, OUT! In the air... taken! In the end that is. Hasan almost made a meal of that one. But in the end he has taken a brilliant catch. Zampa tries to clear the long on fence but gets more height than distance. Hasan Ali in the deep, initially misjudges it as he comes running in, then realizes that the ball is going to fall behind him. He stops himself, tracks back and then takes it above his head, falling down. Lovely stuff. 8 down now and Australia need another 8 to surpass their lowest score in T20Is.
Andrew Tyeb Shaheen Afridi 6 3 1 0 200
14.6
S Afridi to A Tye, OUT! 5th batsman to be bowled in this innings! Beaten for pace there, also he misread the length. Slightly fuller on middle, Tye instead of coming forward tries to defend it from within the crease. The ball skids off and even before the bat comes down, sneaks through and uproots the middle stump. Two in the over for Shaheen. End is nigh for the Aussies.
