Pakistan

Batting R B 4s 6s SR
Babar Azamb Andrew Tye 50 40 5 1 125
13.1
A Tye to B Azam, OUT! DRAGS IT ON! Azam departs shortly after getting to his half century. Two quick wickets for Australia and they are back into the game. The slower one does the trick for Tye. It is on the fuller side outside off, Azam goes for a drive away from his body. The ball comes off very slow from the surface. It takes the inside edge and disturbs the furniture behind. Both the set batsmen are back in the hut, just what Australia wanted, two new batsmen and it is not easy to score on a wicket when you have just arrived. They will look to slow down the run rate.
Sahibzada Farhanc Andrew Tye b Nathan Lyon 39 38 2 3 102.63
12.5
N Lyon to S Farhan, OUT! Dismissed off a full toss! Perhaps he was getting frustrated. Comes down the track and looks to go over the top but finds Andrew Tye to perfection at long off. The fielder perhaps came running in quickly and had to adjust. The 93-run stand is broken.
Mohammad Hafeeznot out 32 20 3 1 160
Shoaib Malikc Aaron Finch b Adam Zampa 18 12 2 0 150
16.4
A Zampa to S Malik, OUT! Leading edge and taken! Zampa gets his revenge. This is tossed up on middle, it turns away. Malik tries to work it on the leg side against the turn. Not a good idea on a wicket which is turning. It takes the leading edge and goes towards covers where Finch takes an easy catch. A big wicket as Malik can be dangerous towards the end. Australia need to keep taking wickets to restrict Pakistan to below 160.
Asif Alic Nathan Coulter-Nile b Mitchell Marsh 4 5 1 0 80
18.2
M Marsh to A Ali, OUT! Asif Ali holes out! A stunning effort by Nathan. The ploy to give Marsh the penultimate over has started off well. It is again the slower ball on middle, Asif tries to clear the long on fence. The timing is not that great. Nathan at long on, judges it really well as he is quite close to the ropes and takes with both hands with a leap. The man who can tonk it long is walking back, without making an impact once again.
Faheem Ashrafc Andrew Tye b Mitchell Marsh 0 1 0 0 0
18.4
M Marsh to F Ashraf, OUT! In the air... gone! Two in the over for Marsh. What a masterstroke this has turned out to be. He bangs it in short and on middle, Faheem goes for the pull but it takes the top edge towards deep square leg. Tye there runs to his left and takes it on the second attempt. Australia finishing strongly here.

Australia

Batting R B 4s 6s SR
Alex Carey (W)c Faheem Ashraf b Mohammad Hafeez 20 9 2 2 222.22
2.1
M Hafeez to A Carey, OUT! Another one bites the dust. Two wickets in two overs. And Australia continue losing early wickets. Hafeez darts this on middle and off, Carey closes the bat face early and gets a leading edge towards mid-wicket. Faheem there takes the simplest of catches. The dangerous Carey departs.
Aaron Finch (C)c Mohammad Hafeez b Faheem Ashraf 1 3 0 0 33.33
1.5
F Ashraf to A Finch, OUT! Soft dismissal. Length ball on middle and off, Finch looks to loft this but hits it straight to mid on. Hafeez moves a little to his left and takes a good catch. Not sure if this shot was needed from the Australian skipper. He could have played himself in given that Carey was going for it at the other end. Nevertheless, a much-needed wicket for Pakistan.
Chris Lynnc Faheem Ashraf b Shadab Khan 15 13 2 0 115.38
7.1
S Khan to C Lynn, OUT! Shadab strikes first ball! The change has done the trick. Loopy ball outside off, Lynn gets low to sweep but is not in control of it. Takes his top edge and flies to cow corner where Faheem makes no mistake. Still 91 more runs needed.
Ben McDermottrun out (Babar Azam) 21 20 2 1 105
7.4
S Khan to Ben McDermott, OUT! 3 run outs in 3 games for Ben McDermott. Oh dear! He won't be pleased. Leg spinner on off, Ben plays it with soft hands towards covers and sets off for a run. Maxwell responds and suddenly sends his partner back. McDermott has given up as he is half-way down. Babar there gives it to Sarfraz who takes off the bails. Pakistan are in celebrations.
Glenn Maxwellc Shoaib Malik b Shadab Khan 4 8 0 0 50
10.1
S Khan to G Maxwell, OUT! Maxwell holes out! He has literally thrown it away. Just reckless from him and Australia now have half the side back in the hut. Shadab once again strikes on the very first ball of his new spell. It is tossed up around off, Maxwell tries to clear long on but due to the turn away, the ball hits the toe end and lobs towards long on. Malik there takes an easy catch. Glenn walks back disappointed and rightly so, do not expect a player with the experience he has to play that shot. Australia in big trouble now. 76 more needed in 59 balls.
Mitchell Marshc Shoaib Malik b Shadab Khan 21 24 0 1 87.5
14.3
S Khan to M Marsh, OUT! Marsh walks back and probably he takes back with him Australia's hopes of chasing this down. Shadab Khan gets his third. Excellent bowling. He knew Marsh would use his feet so he bowls it short and also on his body, cramping him for room. Marsh chips it down towards long on. The shot has enough power that it carries towards the fielder at long on. Malik there runs in and takes a decent catch.
D'Arcy Shortc Shoaib Malik b Usman Khan 10 15 1 0 66.67
15.1
U Khan to D Short, OUT! What a catch by Shoaib Malik. Catch no. 45 in T20Is and it is one he won't forget soon. He is one of the best fielders in the Pakistan team and he is living up to that reputation. A short ball on the body of Short. He flat-bats it towards wide long on. Malik from long on runs to his left and takes a tumbling catch. The last recognized batsman is walking back and now once can surely say, GAME. SET AND MATCH.
Nathan Coulter-Nilerun out (Shadab Khan) 0 1 0 0 0
15.2
U Khan to N Coulter-Nile, OUT! Second run out! The highest scorer for Australia in this series is walking back. A big mix-up. A yorker outside off, Nathan jams it out towards point. He sets off for a run. His partner obliges but then sends him back from the point of no return. Shadab does the smart thing as he runs to the stumps at the striker's end and then breaks it.
Andrew Tyec Sarfraz Ahmed b Hasan Ali 5 9 0 0 55.56
17.6
H Ali to A Tye, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Another lovely catch by Sarfraz this time. Full and outside off, Tye swings but he gets an inside edge which goes quickly to the left of Sarfraz. He dives and takes it.
Adam Zampac Imad Wasim b Hasan Ali 9 10 1 0 90
19.1
H Ali to A Zampa, OUT! No miracle as Zampa is the last man to be dismissed. The slower ball on off, Zampa makes room and tries to go over covers. He only manage to lob it towards the fielder in that position. Imad Wasim tracks back and takes it. Customary handshakes going on as PAKISTAN WIN BY 33 RUNS!
