39.3
U Khan to U Khawaja, OUT! In the air... taken! Heartbreak for Khawaja as he misses out on a top by just two runs. A soft, soft dismissal. Usman lands it on a length and on the stumps. The ball perhaps sticks in the surface a little. Khawaja looks to flick but due to the slowness off the surface, he does so uppishly towards mid-wicket. Shah there takes an easy catch.
Aaron Finch (C)b Usman Khan 53 69 2 2 76.81
23.2
U Khan to A Finch, OUT! Finch departs. Finally Pakistan team have a breakthrough. Length on middle, Finch goes for a flick but the ball skid through. Aaron Finch misses as he is a touch late on the shot and the ball hits the stumps. A good innings by the skipper comes to an end. He though will be disappointed he could not covert it into a big one. Pakistan will now hope they can get another quickly.
Shaun Marshc Abid Ali b Junaid Khan 61 68 5 1 89.71
45.1
J Khan to S Marsh, OUT! Marsh departs. Third wicket down for Australia. What a catch by Abid Ali. A short delivery by Khan on off, Marsh looks for a pull and just gets the slice of the blade. The ball goes in the air towards the mid off region. Abid Ali there, dives to his left and takes an absolute blinder. The celebrations are cut short though as he seems to have injured himself. A good innings from Marsh comes to an end. Pakistan need to keep taking wickets if they are to stem the run flow.
Glenn Maxwellb Junaid Khan 70 33 10 3 212.12
48.3
J Khan to G Maxwell, OUT! TIMBER! Big Show's show comes to an end! He tried to innovate on the last ball it came off, this time it does not. An ugly sight when it does not though. He goes for the scoop but misses. The ball shatters the off pole. End of an excellent innings by Maxwell, this can now make a difference of at least 8 to 10 runs to the final total.
Marcus Stoinisb Usman Khan 4 7 0 0 57.14
47.4
U Khan to M Stoinis, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! You miss, I hit stuff by Khan. Bowls it full and on the stumps. Stoinis misses his heave and sees the leg stump behind get disturbed. Third for Khan and Stoinis once again fails to make an impact. This is a top over till now from UK.
Peter Handscomblbw b Usman Khan 8 5 1 0 160
49.2
U Khan to P Handscomb, OUT! Khan picks his fourth wicket. A good length delivery on off, Handscomb looks for a flick but misses it. The ball hit his pads and a good shout from the bowler. The umpire raises his finger.
Alex Carey (W)lbw b Junaid Khan 0 2 0 0 0
48.5
J Khan to A Carey, OUT! As plumb as it gets! Junaid gets his second in the over. This is bowled on the stumps, Carey looks to whip it but misses. It hits him on the pads. An appeal follows and the umpire raises his finger. Carey reviews, a review more in desperation I feel. Time for the replays and they show no bat involved and three reds. Carey has to continue to walk back.

A Zampa to S Masood, OUT! That was as plumb as it gets. Zampa gets the big wicket. It was a slider bowled on middle, Masood looks to pull but misses it and gets hit on the pads. The bowler appeals for lbw and the umpire raises his finger. Shan Masood does not go for the review and makes a long walk back to the pavilion. It was a perfect decision from the umpire. Probably it would have hit the middle stump. A big wicket for the visitors, this partnership was looking dangerous.
Abid Alic Alex Carey b Jason Behrendorff 0 1 0 0 0

J Behrendorff to A Ali, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! A century in his first game and a golden duck in his second. Jason draws first blood and Australia are up and running. This is bowled on off and then angling away. Ali is drawn into a stroke. He tries to defend but the angle away does him in. He ends up playing inside the line, the ball kisses the outside edge and goes into the hands of the keeper. Pakistan are off to a poor start chasing a big score.
Haris Sohailc Nathan Lyon b Kane Richardson 130 129 11 3 100.78
40.2
K Richardson to H Sohail, OUT! There goes the centurion! Both the set batsmen are back in the hut. This is a body blow for the hosts, they needed Sohail to play for a longer time. A soft dismissal to be honest. It is not such a great delivery, short and outside off. Sohail cuts it uppishly but straight to the man at point, Lyon there takes it. The ball maybe was too close for him to play that shot and hence could not get the elevation. Nevertheless, he walks back after playing an excellent innings. Has brought Pakistan to a position where they can think of winning the game. However, they now have two new batsmen out in the middle at a time where they need to up the ante.
Mohammad Rizwan (W)c Nathan Lyon b Glenn Maxwell 12 13 1 0 92.31
23.3
G Maxwell to M Rizwan, OUT! In the air... taken! A very, very good catch there by Lyon but also credit to the Aussie skipper and Maxwell. We saw Rizwan clear mid off a ball before for a boundary. Finch still had that fielder in the ring. Rizwan tries to do the same, this time though the ball is a little more fuller which means it is difficult for the batsman to get under it. He does not get the elevation he wanted, Lyon at mid off, moves to his right and takes the catch with his hand stretched above his head. Rizwan is disappointed and rightly so. Big wicket for Australia as the wicket-keeper batsman was in good form. Pakistan in a spot of bother here.
Umar Akmalc Jason Behrendorff b Nathan Lyon 43 44 3 0 97.73
39.4
N Lyon to U Akmal, OUT! Akmal holes out! Timely breakthrough for the Aussies. The 102-run stand has been broken. The bowling change does the trick. Lyon tosses it up on middle, Akmal dances down the track and then looks to go over mid-wicket. He only manages to hit it high up in the air towards wide long on. Jason Behrendorff there settles under it and takes it. The game is evenly poised heading into the last 10.
Saad Alic Shaun Marsh b Jason Behrendorff 4 11 0 0 36.36
43.6
J Behrendorff to S Ali, OUT! Pakistan have now lost their way completely. The last recognized batsman is making his way back to the pavilion. Imad Wasim now probably has to do it on his own now. Saad takes a few steps ahead and then looks to flick it over the mid-wicket fence. Does not get the timing on this one and Shaun Marsh there takes an easy catch. Australia's game now one would believe. 73 more needed in 36 balls.

Yasir Shahc Aaron Finch b Jason Behrendorff 11 13 0 0 84.62

J Behrendorff to Y Shah, OUT! In the air... and Yasir Shah departs! He needed to go for it and falls in the attempt to do so. The slower ball on middle, Yasir needed to generate all the power as he went for the big hit. Does not get the desired distance and holes out at long on where Finch takes it. Just 10 from this over, now I write just because it is a very good one in the context of the game. Pakistan need 25 in the last over.
