West Indies have lost their first quickly after surviving some really torrid 45 minutes.

Stokes to Powell, OUT! England are on top once again! This time it is Stokes who provides another breakthrough in quick succession. Keeps this one full and straight in line of the stumps. Powell goes for a drive down the ground but doesn't bother keeping it down. Ben in his followthrough bends, maintains his balance and grabs a very good catch. A resolute knock from the southpaw comes to an end. He pays the price for driving with minimal foot movement. He is absolutely gutted with himself. Can the home side trigger a collapse now?

J Anderson to Hope, OUT! Anderson is up and running! Wicket number 499 for the veteran! He keeps it fuller around off, Kyle Hope leans ahead to play at that but then at the last moment decides not to do so. His bat is hanging out and the ball takes the outside edge and flies towards first slip. However, Jonny Bairstow dives full length to his right and takes it near the face of Alastair Cook. A typical Anderson celebration follows - right arm up with a finger pointing skywards. Oh wait, they are checking for the no ball. But much to the bowler's delight, the front foot is fine. The ball seams slightly away after pitching, bounces a tad extra and takes the outside edge of Hope's bat. Cook at first slip takes the catch and is proud of himself. He has been dropping catches on a consistent basis since the last match and will be relieved not to make a mistake this time.

Ben Stokes to Chase, OUT! That's a jaffa from Ben Stokes! He bowls a full length ball around off and it shapes slightly away. Chase looks to defend but this is just unplayable as the ball goes past his outside edge and strikes the off stump. Stokes is elated with this and he's really enjoying the movement he's getting off the pitch. The first ball was an inswinger and this time the away swinger does the trick for him and his side.

T Roland-Jones to Blackwood, OUT! Bowled 'em! Blackwood plays all round this full length delivery shaping in from off. He was looking to slog it across the line but misses the ball completely. The ball goes through his bat and pad and castles onto his middle stump. The Windies are in trouble now with half their side back in the hut!

Ben Stokes to S Dowrich, OUT! The catch is legal and Dowrich has to depart! Another one bites the dust. Like the previous dismissal, this one too seams slightly away from the batsman. The umpires want to check whether everything is fine and so refer it upstairs. The landing of the foot is fine according to the replays and it takes just one view for the third umpire S.Ravi to decide that the catch is perfectly legal. The decision stays as it is and the 7th wicket is down. So after dropping three catches in a row, Cook has bounced back with two catches and this one was a beauty. West Indies in danger of getting bowled out in this session itself.

Ben steams in and bowls it on a fuller length well outside off. It swings in prodigiously. Holder looks to keep it out gingerly but is beaten for pace and swing. K Roach to Cook, OUT! The bowling change does the trick! He has a habit of bowling snorters out of nowhere and he produces another. Good bowling from Roach and he reaps the reward. Bowls this one on a length on middle and off and gets some away movement after pitching. Cook pokes at it gingerly and ends up getting an outside edge. Shane Dowrich moves to his left and takes a regulation catch. This is a big breakthrough for the visitors.

K Roach to Stoneman, OUT! West Indies strike early! Stoneman has been dismissed! This is on a good length just a touch outside off. Mark feels for it off the back foot but the ball seams slightly away and takes a thick outside edge which flies behind to the keeper. Shane Dowrich makes no mistake and takes the catch comfortably. Roach is elated and his side will hope that he takes some more wickets.

J Holder to Westley, OUT! The Windies are making really good use of the overcast conditions. Westley's lean patch continues, his fifth consecutive single digit score in Tests. Holder steams in and bowls it on a length on off. Tom hangs back and looks to block it but misses it completely to get rapped on the back pad. The tourists appeal confidently in unison and the umpire has no hesitation in ruling it out. The youngster walks across to his skipper and thinks about the review but Root tells him not to take it. The Hawk Eye shows that the impact was umpire's call and it was clipping the top of off. England are in some trouble now.

J Holder to Joe Root, OUT! The run machine departs! No fifty for the English skipper this time which is a rarity. What a brilliant passage of play for the tourists. K Roach to Malan, OUT! A promising start from Malan has been cut short! It is that man again, Kemar Roach who provides the breakthrough. He steams in from around the wicket and lands it on a length around off. Malan hangs back to block it but the ball seams away slightly after hitting the deck. That is enough to catch the outside edge of Dawid's bat. Shane Dowrich behind the stumps gets low to his left and takes it inches above the ground. West Indies continue to chip away at the wickets. S Gabriel to Stokes, OUT! Bowled 'em! What a brute of a delivery, Gabriel! He has done it for the second time and this time it is a legal delivery. Fuller in length outside off, swings in substantially. Stokes looks to keep it out gingerly but it is too good. The ball goes through his tentative front foot defense and rattles the woodwork. This time the umpires do not check for the front foot no ball. The replays show that he had his foot well inside the crease. It is a big, big wicket. The all-rounder departs after a good knock. Hope tries to drive it down the ground but misses to get pinged low on the back pad. The hosts appeal confidently in unison and up goes the umpire's finger. Kyle Hope ambles across to Powell and ponders about the review. After a conversation, Kyle finally takes it. The replays roll in. The Hawk Eye shows that the impact is in line and it is crashing into the off stump. This is a waste of a review. The youngster's misery continues.

Terrific performance from Jimmy as he gets his 5th fifer at Lord's and his 24th overall in Tests! What a player!

J Anderson to Chase, OUT! Anderson gets another! After going past 500 wickets, there's just no stopping him! Chase has been dismissed on just the fourth delivery of the day. Anderson bowls this on a length around off. The ball shapes away as well. Chase goes chasing after it and gets a thick edge which goes behind to the keeper. Bairstow makes no mistake as he dives to his right and completes the catch. West Indies are in big trouble now!

J Anderson to Blackwood, OUT! Fourth wicket for Anderson! Bowls this on a good length around off, gets it to move away after pitching. Blackwood tries to push it towards covers but looks very tentative and hence gets a thick outside edge which goes to the keeper. Easy catch for Bairstow and that's the end of Blackwood's innings. He never looked too comfortable in the middle. He was dropped by Broad, survived an LBW call but still couldn't last long. Anderson, moving towards yet another 5-fer, punches the air in elation! Half the Windies side is back in the pavilion. The visitors lead only by 29.

Roland-Jones to S Dowrich, OUT! That's the end of Dowrich's short stay in the middle! First wicket for Toby Roland-Jones in this innings. This is on a length, angling into Dowrich, who gets beaten by the pace as he looks to pull. Ends up mistiming it in the air and Broad at short mid on makes no mistake after dropping two catches early on. Shane was hurried on as the pitch seems to have spiced up under the sun.
