Evin Lewisb Mahmudullah 89 36 6 8 247.22
9.2
Mahmudullah to E Lewis, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! No 100 for Evin Lewis and Bangladesh will be relieved to see the back of the opener. Excellent bowling change and Mahmudullah has delivered. Once again it is tossed up slower around off. Lewis goes for the slog sweep but misses it completely. The ball hits the off stump and Evin has to take the long walk back. Nevertheless, an excellent innings from him. He has laid the foundation for the batsmen to come. Can they capitalize?
Shai Hope (W)b Shakib Al Hasan 23 12 3 1 191.67
4.6
Al Hasan to S Hope, OUT! TIMBER! Bangladesh get the breakthrough. Once again it is the skipper who steps up when his team needed someone too. Clever by Shakib. He bowls this slower and lands it on middle, Hope is done in by the pace. He is way too early in the sweep shot. Misses and it hits the top of middle. End of a brilliant opening stand for the Windies. They have provided an electrifying start. Bangladesh now though will look to pull things back.
Keemo Paulc Ariful Haque b Mustafizur Rahman 2 3 0 0 66.67
6.3
M Rahman to K Paul, OUT! In the air... taken! Rahman strikes in his first over. Paul's promotion up the order has not worked. The second short ball of the over, he was shaken by the first one and perishes on the second. Goes for the pull, only manages to get a top edge. It goes way up in the air. So high that it came down with snow on it. Haque at deep square leg, judges it well and takes it. Need a few more do Bangladesh.
Rovman Powellc Liton Das b Mahmudullah 19 16 1 1 118.75
13.4
Mahmudullah to R Powell, OUT! Rovman Powell departs! Short on middle, Rovman pulls it over mid-wicket but does not get enough on it. The fielder in the deep, Liton Das, takes a comfortable catch. Windies lose their fifth wicket.
Shimron Hetmyerlbw b Mahmudullah 0 1 0 0 0
9.3
Mahmudullah to S Hetmyer, OUT! No inside edge and it is clipping the leg pole. Two-in-two for Mahmudullah and Bangladesh are crawling their way into the game. A golden duck for Hetmyer. This is fired on middle, Hetmyer tries to play across the line but misses. The ball hits him on the pads. An appeal follows and the umpire raises the finger after giving it a thought. Hetmyer reviews straightaway. Replays show the on-field call is the right one.
Nicholas Pooranc Abu Hider b Mustafizur Rahman 29 24 2 2 120.83
16.1
M Rahman to N Pooran, OUT! Excellent adjustment and wonderfully taken by Abu Hider in the end. Seemed to have picked it up late but manages to hold on. This ball is outside off on a length, Pooran tries to maximize and hit it over long off for a maximum but gets the top edge. The ball goes towards third man and Abu sees it late, but comes in well in time and takes it perfectly in the end. This wicket has come at a good time for the hosts. Pooran is a guy who can play big shots and hurt you at the end of the innings.
Carlos Brathwaite (C)c Mehidy Hasan b Mustafizur Rahman 8 7 1 0 114.29
16.5
M Rahman to C Brathwaite, OUT! Caught! Brilliant field placement by Bangladesh. Outside off on a fuller length, Braithwaite went to drive this one through the covers but the ball takes the outside edge and goes straight to Mehidy at a position which would have been a fourth slip. Wonderful captaincy. The hosts seem to have done their homework. Windies losing their way after an explosive first half and this might come to hurt them in the end.
Sherfane Rutherfordc Mushfiqur Rahim b Shakib Al Hasan 2 6 0 0 33.33
18.5
Al Hasan to S Rutherford, OUT! Shakib has two in the over now! What a stunner from the keeper! Fuller length and Rutherford goes for the huge slog over mid-wicket but gets an outside edge and the ball completely changes its direction. Rahim though does well to grab it and hold on to the ball. Windies in a risk of being bowled out here.
Fabian Allenst Mushfiqur Rahim b Shakib Al Hasan 8 7 1 0 114.29
18.2
Al Hasan to F Allen, OUT! Stumped! Beaten in the air and Allen is at deep waters. Flighted up generously and Fabian comes down the wicket to go for a huge one. Shakib sees this and slows it down. Allen goes with the shot but misses the ball completely. Rahim completes the stumping, which is a mere formality. Windies are falling apart at the fag end here.

19.2
Mahmudullah to O Thomas, OUT! Mahmudullah has collected it cleanly and to be sure, he also takes the stumps out with the ball in his hand. That is the end of the Windies innings and THEY HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 190! This is fired on the pads, the batsman works it towards square leg. Cottrell wants a run, Thomas is late to see his partner coming and he then responds. Shakib at short fine leg, collects the ball and throws it to Mahmudullah who takes the bails off after collecting the throw. The umpire goes upto check if it has been taken cleanly and the bails have been dislodged after the ball is collected. Replays confirm it has.

Tamim Iqbalrun out (Rovman Powell) 8 6 0 1 133.33

O Thomas to L Das, OUT! Run Out! What a shocker! No one expected this, neither the fielders nor the crowd as there was not much of an appeal after the keeper had taken the bails off. The ball is on length and flicked away towards the deep square leg fence by Das. Powell gives chase almost all the way to the boundary and picks it up, turns around and throws it back to the keeper's end. The batsmen were going for the third run. The throw is right on top of the stumps and Shai Hope takes the bails off in a flash. Tamim though did not look worried. The leg umpire took it upstairs and lo and behold! Tamim is found short! He has to depart and that's the first one down for the hosts. Has come against the run of play. Unbeliveable.
Liton Dasc Carlos Brathwaite b Keemo Paul 43 25 3 3 172
9.3
K Paul to L Das, OUT! Now Liton departs! His luck seems to have run out. Length delivery on off, Liton looks to pull but gets a top edge towards mid off where Brathwaite moves slightly to his left and takes it comfortably. Bangladesh lose their sixth wicket. Big wicket for the Windies. The last recognised batsman departs.
Soumya Sarkarc Sheldon Cottrell b Fabian Allen 9 10 0 1 90
4.2
F Allen to S Sarkar, OUT! Needless, very needless from Sarkar. He has just thrown it away. The Windies though won't care as they have gotten a much-needed breakthrough. The bowling change has done the trick for them. This is tossed up on middle, Sarkar tries to clear long on but only gets height and not the distance. Cottrell at long on, runs in and takes a good catch.
Shakib Al Hasan (C)c Sheldon Cottrell b Fabian Allen 0 1 0 0 0
4.3
F Allen to Al Hasan, OUT! Two in two for the Windies and they are right back in the contest. Once again it is reckless from a Bangladesh batsman. This time it is their skipper. Almost an identical dismissal to the Sarkar's. Allen tosses it up on off, Shakib brings out the slog sweep but ends up slicing it towards long on. Cottrell there takes a good catch diving forward. A golden duck for last games' hero. Bangladesh need another 126. Hat-trick ball coming up.
Mushfiqur Rahim (W)c Fabian Allen b Keemo Paul 1 5 0 0 20
5.3
K Paul to M Rahim, OUT! The controversy seems to be far gone now if you have a look at the Windies players. They are running around and celebrating. Wide outside off on a length and another Bangladesh batsman has gone chasing after a ball, hits it in the air. The ball goes straight to point and guess who has taken that catch, Fabian Allen! He has been involved in all the three wickets so far after the huge pause in play.
Mahmudullahc Carlos Brathwaite b Keemo Paul 11 9 2 0 122.22
7.3
K Paul to Mahmudullah, OUT! Another one has holed out and half of the hosts' side is back in the hut now. The Windies look really a different unit after the pause. The ball is a length half-volley outside off, and Mahmudullah who has looked really good so far, mistimes his lofted drive and hits it straight into the hands of the skipper, Braithwaite at mid off. This is absolute madness from the hosts! They have played unnecessary shots and have just thrown away their wickets.
Mehidy Hasanc Fabian Allen b Sheldon Cottrell 19 19 1 1 100
15.1
S Cottrell to M Hasan, OUT! Mehidy Hasan departs! Short of length delivery outside off, Mehidy looks to go over covers but gets a leading edge towards point where Fabian Allen takes a comfortable catch. The end is nigh for Bangladesh.
Ariful Haquec Sherfane Rutherford b Keemo Paul 0 1 0 0 0
9.4
K Paul to A Haque, OUT! Two in two! The Windies cannot be stopped here. A short of a length ball first up to the new comer and the ball hurries onto him. Ariful who goes for a hook mistimes the shot completely and the ball goes to mid on. The seventh wicket has fallen and it looks like the final nail in the coffin. From 62-1 to 90-7. Keemo Paul on a hattrick.
Mohammad Saifuddinc Shai Hope b Keemo Paul 5 7 1 0 71.43
11.4
K Paul to M Saifuddin, OUT! A soft feather and Bangladesh have lost their eighth. That is a 5-fer for Keemo Paul. His maiden in T20Is. The ball was short of a length and outside off, Saifuddin goes for the pull and doesn't connect properly. The ball takes a faint edge and Hope makes no mistake behid. An appeal follows. The umpire takes a while to lift his finger and Hope was almost trying to go for the review but then sees the finger and decides there's no need for it.
Abu Hidernot out 22 17 3 1 129.41
Mustafizur Rahmanb Carlos Brathwaite 7 7 0 1 100
16.6
C Brathwaite to M Rahman, OUT! TIMBER! That is it! The captain gets the last wicket and he is very pleased with it. Rahman moves away a little too much. Brathwaite bowls it full and on middle, Mustafizur fails to put bat on ball and it knocks the middle stump out. All smiles on the Windies face as they HAVE WON BY 50 RUNS!
