L Malinga to H Masakadza, OUT! Soft dismissal! This ball should have been put away to the boundary but it becomes his undoing. Short delivery and going down the leg side, Masakadza looks to pull it fine down the leg side but only manages to get a bit of glove on it. Dickwella collects it behind the stumps and appeals confidently. The umpire has no hesitation in ruling it out. However, he walks across to the square leg umpire and decides to refer it upstairs to check for the overstepping. The replays show that Malinga's front foot is on the line. There might be just a shade of it behind the line but it is in doubt. The third umpire gives the benefit of the doubt to the bowler and Hamilton has to go back to the pavilion. Good start for Sri Lanka.
Solomon Mirec & b Asela Gunaratne 112 96 14 0 116.67

A Gunaratne to S Mire, OUT! GONE! Mire has to go. A nothing delivery there. Slow and short on middle, Solomon punches it off the toe end straight back to Gunaratne who takes a good low catch. A fine innings by Solomon has come to an end here. He rode his luck after being dropped and given several chances, he has put Zimbabwe in a commendable position. Sri Lanka have got the much-needed breakthrough. They will want to build pressure now on Zimbabwe.

A Dananjaya to C Ervine, OUT! Ervine holes out! Tossed up delivery, Ervine kneels and goes for the sweep but is a touch early into his shot. Gets it from the top edge of his bat and the ball flies towards fine leg. Upul Tharanga stationed there doesn't need to move an inch and takes it with ease. A few tight overs from the home side has brought the downfall. The youngster gets rewarded for his consistency.

A Gunaratne to S Williams, OUT! Gunaratne gets his second. He is proving to be the man for Sri Lanka. Slower through the air on leg stump. Williams tries to flick it but misses and the ball brushes his boots and deflects onto the stumps. The Sri Lankans are pumped and why won't they be? They have fought their way back into the match.
