Azhar Mahmood, born February 28, 1975, was a former Pakistani all-rounder who fizzled out after a brilliant start to his Test career. He played just 21 Tests and 143 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), but he was considered one of the finest all-rounders in the country for a brief period of time, and rightly so.
