Auckland were chasing 161, when they needed 12 off the last ball. Graeme Aldridge bowled a waist-high full toss and and Adams nicked it for a four. The umpires signalled it a no ball. A no ball in New Zealand domestic cricket means two runs. Which meant Aces needed six required off the last ball, which Adams sealed it with a six over long-off, guiding his side home by four wickets.
