A walk through Lord’s cricket ground with Michael Atherton

The historic ground, often known as the home of cricket, was founded in 1814.

In this video, Michael Atherton walks the viewer through the dressing room of the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground to the playing field. The historic ground, often known as the home of cricket, was built in 1814 and stands in its current form after multiple redevelopments.

The unique thing about that ground is that, players have to pass through a long room, where they actually have to negotiate their way past  Lord’s members. The corridors are decorated with paintings of celebrated cricketers and iconic events in cricket.
