Ashes 2013-14: Stuart Broad not sure if he will bowl again on this tour

Stuart Broad got injured by a Mitchell Johnson yorker as it hit his foot on Day Three of the third Ashes 2013-14 Test. He went to the hospital and returned back to the WACA.

 

He may not be able to bowl in the remainder of the match, but he is willing to bat if it is possible.

 

Broad remarked on the day’s platy and his injury. “My knee hurts went the doctors took an X— ray. It got worse when I bowled hope I can bowl again in Australia.

 

“I am optimistic about England’s survival and we are desperate to stay in the Ashes. The wicket is pretty good and once you get your eye in, it gets better as the day goes on.

 

“There is a confidence and belief that we can see through this Test match and we have done it in the past. It is a matter of confidence.”
