A confident England skipper Alastair Cook said that his team is very well motivated going into the second Ashes Test at Lord's starting on Thursday.

Cook said that while the first Test had drained a lot of energy out of the team, the thought of playing at Lord's is a big push in itself and every member will be raring to go. The England skipper was cautious on not taking things the team's form for granted.

England managed to scrape through to a 14-run win over Australia at Trent Bridge to take a 1-0 lead. Their strike-bowler James Anderson shared a big chunk of the pressure and delivered with a 10-for. Cook said, though Anderson was tired after the Test, he has recovered and is completely fit for the Test at Lord's.
