Kumar bowled brilliantly well to end with figures of 3/9 in his quota of four overs as he reduced Pakistan to 12 for three in a low-scoring chase.

Although Pakistan went on to win the game, Kumar was a stand out performer for India as he dismiseed Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal with some breathtaking swing bowling.

He set the three batsmen up beautifully and foxed them well to send them back to the pavilion.
