Australia's Chris Rogers says he is keen to make the most of every opportunity that comes his way on the VB Tour of England. Rogers, 35, was recalled, with chief selector John Inverarity admitting experience was an important factor in the absence of Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey.

The 35-year-old left-hander scored 214 against Surrey earlier in the season and looked set for a second double-century, only for his former Western Australia team-mate Steve Magoffin to have him caught by Michael Yardy.
