It has been a great year for India's opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan and he would no doubt look to continue his good form during the tour of South Africa. In fact, the swashbuckling opener with a sparkling century in the final One-Day International against the West Indies at Kanpur was in sublime touch. His century also helped the Indian side to defeat West Indies 2-1.

Dhawan believed that ending the home season on a high would give him a lot of confidence going into the high octane Test and ODI series in South Africa.
