Former England Woman cricketer Isa Guha interviewed Ireland-born England cricketer Eoin Morgan before the start of the five-match Royal London One-Day International series against India.

Morgan, who was recently appointed vice-captain of his side, spoke positively of his team’s chances of success in the upcoming ODIs given the incredible efforts his team had put in over the last one year, and the rewards that they reaped in the last three Tests of the recently concluded Test series.

“If we can win the first couple of games against India, it will give us the momentum that can sail us through the next six months. It will also be a crucial to our preparation [for the World Cup] and a huge opportunity for us to be hard down in Australia and New Zealand,” Morgan was quoted as saying to Guha.
