Former England bowler Dean Headley discusses about the exploits of pacers James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Varun Aaron in the fourth Test at Manchester in a video interview with ecb.co.uk.
The 44 year-old retired pacer talked about James Anderson’s ability to swing the ball both ways as well as his partnership with Stuart Broad. Broad and Anderson have off-lately became one of the most prolific bowling duos in Test history.
He also touched upon the topic Indian paceman Varun Aaron, who was one of the bright spots in an otherwise dull Indian show at the Old Trafford. Aaron picked three wickets during England’s first innings. One of his deliveries went through the helmet grill of Broad and smashed his nose, which caused him to abandon his innings and return to the pavilion immediately.
England thrashed India by an innings and 54 runs in the fourth Test to take a 2-1 series lead. India have to buck up if they are to share the honours at the Oval, where the final Test of the series is scheduled to take place.
