Former cricketer Kirti Azad has said that there is too much of politics in sport in India.

His comments have come in the wake of the Indian Olympic Association being suspended by the International Olympic Committee on allegations of government interference in holding elections to the body, thereby prohibiting Indian athletes from participating in the Olympics.
