McDonald felt that, despite of losing quick wickets early, Chris Gayle and Ab DeVilliers batted beautifully to take the game away from Kings XI Punjab, and made the target look easy. However he maintained that, to win on a consistent basis it is necessary for the top four batsman to contribute well.
