Tasmanian Ben Dunk smashed the third highest List A score by scoring an unbeaten 229 against Queensland at Sydney in the Matador Cup 2014. Dunk is third on the list behind Shikhar Dhawan (248) and Ali Brown (268).

“To get a double hundred is extremely pleasing but to lose leaves a very sour taste. All the records are great but, at the moment, I’m just disappointed that we are probably out of the tournament, when I think we are a better team than that. Probably when I get a chance to reflect, this will all sink in. I struggled in the first four games,” Dunk was quoted as saying by Australian Associated Press.
