The International Cricket Council (ICC), announced that the first ICC World Test Championship will be held in England in 2017, followed by the second edition in 2021 to be held in India.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is scheduled to host the ICC World Twenty20 2016 and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, along with the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship in 2021.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) released its tentative itinerary for the period 2015 to 2023 in its annual conference held in London on Saturday, where it also announced the inaugural World Test Championship in 2017 to be staged in England and Wales.
