Former cricketer Ashley Giles was appointed as the coach of England for Twenty20 and One-Day International formats in November, whereas Andy Flower will cotinue as the director and coach for the Test side.

According to a statement released by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB): “Andy Flower will remain as England Team Director and will continue to be responsible for the preparation and playing strategies for the England men's cricket teams supported by Ashley Giles.”
