In a highly anticipated contest between old rivals, India and Pakistan, it was the visitors who had the final word as they beat MS Dhoni and his men by five wickets to draw first blood in the highly anticipated series.

After restricting India to just 133, Pakistan did well to come out on top after losing three quick wickets to debutant Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

Hafeez and Shoaib Malik scored half-centuries to help Pakistan take an unassailable lead of 1-0 in the two-match T20 series against the hosts.
