England off spinner, James Tredwell is confident of a change in fortunes as their Sri Lanka tour moves to Hambantota for the third One-Day international on December 3rd. England have started the series poorly, losing the first two ODIs in Colombo. They surprised one and all by giving Sri lanka a run for their money against all odds in the first ODI but the traditional subcontinent slaughter resumed as Sri Lanka pummled them into submission in the second ODI.

The team led by Alastair Cook has received plenty of flak from former English cricketers for being far too conservative in their approach to the ODI format. England have had a terrible year in ODI cricket, having lost four-one to Australia, followed by losses against Sri Lanka and India at home. Tredwell is hopeful that they’ll be able to turn their luck around come the third ODI in Hambantota.
