England’s wicket keeper batsman Jos Buttler hopes to keep Joe Root quite when his team Lancashire Lightning play Yorkshire Vikings in the NatWestT20 Blast on Friday at Headingley. England lost the Test against New Zealand at Headingley, but Jos Buttler looked in good touch scoring a fine 73 and will hope to emulate his good hitting form against Yorkshire who will have his team-mate in Joe Root making an appearance too.
Joe Root has been the man in form for England in the recent past in whites and he will wish to continue his good work and get ready for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand. New Zealand play five one-dayers followed by a solitary Twenty20 international.
