India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni might be fit to play in the final of the Caribbean tri-series against Sri Lanka on Thursday.

India’s stand-in captain Virat Kohli hinted that Dhoni is gearing towards full fitness and he might be fit, reports NDTV.

Dhoni suffered a hamstring injury during India’s first match against West Indies and was ruled out for the whole series. Ambati Rayudu was called in the squad as replacement.

However, Dhoni has been rested for India’s tour of Zimbabwe and Kohli will lead the team in his absence.
