India skipper, MS Dhoni has said that the upcoming tour of New Zealand will be extremely crucial for the new-look Indian side.

He said that with the World Cup, which will be held in the trans-Tasmanian nations, just a year away, the New Zealand will be an ideal start to getting acclimatised to the trans-tasmanian conditions.

Dhoni also said that his team is desperate to win an away series, and disassociate themselves from the tag of home tigers.

Dhoni, when asked about the new sponsors of Team India, Star, said that he is thankful to Sahara for their extended support for all these years and hopes for the same from the new sponsors.
