The New Zealand Women’s Cricket team are ready to head to India for three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20I), all of which are to be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore between the dates June 28 and July 15.

“India in India will be a real challenge. They’ve got some world-class players, the likes of Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami and they’ve got some really good young spinners coming through,” Haidee Tiffen, coach of the White Ferns (as the New Zealand Women’s team is known) was quoted as saying.

“The last two trips that I’ve been on with the White Ferns have been not just the tour of India, they’ve been tournaments. Either the World Cup or a quad series. So I’m really excited to visit India and be in a home series with them, because they are always tough in their own conditions,” White Ferns skipper Suzie Bates was quoted as saying.
