The incident occured when the Pakistan team was at the breakfast table, where Abbas consumed diluted phenyl kept in a mineral water bottle.

Abbasi, who is in Bangalore to play for the first World T20 Cricket Tournament for the visually impaired, has been admitted to MS Ramaiah hospital.
