Pakistan vs Australia: Asad Shafiq backs day-night Tests

Asad Shafiq will be playing in Australia for the first time when they play first Test at Brisbane starting December 15.

Pakistan’s top-order batsman Asad Shafiq had a pretty decent outing in the recently concluded Test series against West Indies. He scored three half-centuries that landed him a place in the series against Australia starting from December 15. The first Test will be played at Brisbane which will be day-night Test. Shafiq had good time with the pink-ball as he smashed a fifty. The batsman also backs the decision by ICC to introduce the day-night Test and had no issues with the visibility of pink-ball. This will be Shafiq’s first outing to Australia and he is excited to prove his stance. He concluded hopeful of Pakistan continuing their good show after the recent defeat against New Zealand away from home.
