Pradeep Sangwan, the left-arm medium pacer from Delhi who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) has failed a random dope test that was conducted during the tournament. This comes as a shocking news as the IPL has been hit by yet another controversy, although it may not be a major one.
PTI quoted a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official, "Yes, Pradeep Sangwan has tested positive for banned substances during this edition of Indian Premier League. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has already issued a letter to the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) in this regard. There have been traces of banned substances in his 'A' sample,"
