The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with Australian cricketers during their trip Down Under. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton met with Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath and Australia Women all-rounder Ellyse Perry.
McGrath talked about how it was meeting royalty and said it was special and he will remember it always. McGrath said that both the royals knew a lot about cricket and that helped him as he was nervous at the beginning. He said both were very open and warm.
The royals met with children. Ellyse also said that it was a wonderful experience to meet them. She also said they spoke about the ICC World Cup 2015 which will be held in Australia and New Zealand next year.
McGrath then said that he predicted Australia to win the World Cup and that Prince William leaned towards England winning it.
