If Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president, Rajeev Shukla is to be believed, then hockey lovers in this country should not feel hard done by the fact that Sachin Tendulkar has got the Bharat Ratna, and not Dhyan Chand.

 

He said that they should feel happy and the late Dhyan Chand has got the biggest honour after the Dhyan Chand award was named after him.

He also said that it wrong for people to debate Sachin Tendulkar’s Bharat Ratna, arguing that it is not the case that Tendulkar has got the Bharat Ratna Chand was deserving of.
