Ravindra Jadeja's coach Mahendra Singh spoke about his delight with Jadeja's form in the recently concluded series against Australia and said that it was the perfect holi gift for him.

Jadeja (Five for 58) recorded his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket, eclipsing the 3 for 33 against Australia at Hyderabad. Jadeja's superb match figures of 7 for 98 (2 for 40 and 5 for 58) are his best in a Test match, surpassing the six for 66 against Australia at Hyderabad. His brilliant performance has earned him his first Man of the Match award in Tests.

He was picked ahead of in-form Pragyan Ojha and did well to do more than just support Ravichandran Ashwin from the other end.
