Ricky Ponting  retired from Test cricket at the end of the third and final Test match against South Africa at Perth on Monday bring an end to a glorious 17-year cricket career. He ended his career as the second-highest run-getter in Test and One-Day International cricket, only behind the Indian Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
