Delhi Police investigating the spot-fixing case got a major setback after a city court granted bail to suspended Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth along with Ankeet Chavan and 17 others in the Indian Premier League spot-fixing last evening. Sreesanth, along with others who were in Tihar jail will be released on Tuesday. The court said there was not enough evidence against them.

Additional Session Judge VK Khanna granted bail to the accused on personal bonds of Rs 50,000 each.

The others who were granted bail include Jiju Janardhanan, Chandresh Patel and Tinku Mandi among others.

Another Rajasthan Royals cricketer, Ajit Chandila had not applied for bail.
