Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar has said that he has no intentions of joining active politics. This comes after there were some speculations that he would be campaigning for Congress ahead of the elections.

Tendulkar is a Member of the Rajya Sabha and he got in under the eminent citizens' quota. However, he has made it clear that he doesn't want to join it after retirement. He said this while speaking to New Indian Express.

Tendulkar is going to play his final two Tests when West Indies and India take on each other in November. His final Test would be at his home-ground, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, and it would also be his 200th Test.
