On February 24, 2010, the little master Sachin Tendulkar scored the first ever double century in One-Day Internationals (ODI) in a match against South Africa at Gwalior. Since Tendulkar’s century, a double hundred has been scored four mote times—twice by Rohit Sharma, and once by Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill. India managed t post 401 on the board against the bowling attack consisting of Dale Steyn, Wayne Parnell and Jacques Kallis. India eventually went on to win the match by 153 runs and registered an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Tendulkar looked at his utmost best in the entire match and got to 200 in the final over of the Indian innings with skipper MS Dhoni giving him company at the other end.
