Western Australia (WA) coach Justin Langer speaks to CA TV after his side were outclassed by New South Wales (NSW) in the second day of the 2014 Sheffield Shield final being played at Canberra.

WA who finished the day at 15 for 4 were rocked by NSW pacer Josh Hazlewood’s 3-wicket burst and now precariously trail the Red backs by a huge 432 runs.

Langer admitted that it was a very ‘painful’ day and was ‘disappointed’ at how his side performed.

Langer also gave due credit to the NSW batsmen and said that they had done well to build  a huge first-innings total, thus holding the match by the scruff of it’s neck.

Langer concluded by saying that his side will come out fighting and try to salvage what has turned out to be a disastrous match so far for them.
