Part five of Simon Taufel's lecture delivered at the Marylebourne Cricket Club's (MCC) Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture.
Taufel has upheld the integrity of the game throughout his career and was a phenomenal umpire until he retired from international cricket in 2012.
In this video, he talks about the Decision Review System (DRS). He also speaks about an interesting incident when he was made to umpire in a game in which his son was playing. Taufel said that the future generations are influenced by what they watch on television, which is why the game's values have to be upheld. He says that umpires have an integral part in cricket's various aspects such as the spirit of cricket.
