England skipper Stuart Broad speaks after his side’s 25-run victory over the West Indies at North Sound Antigua which helped the visitors clinch the three-match One-Day International series 2-1.

 

Broad who finished with figures of 2 for 58 in the match praised his side for their tenacity and patience and also said that this win could be used as a springboard for the rest of the season ahead.

It may well be remembered that Broad and Ravi Bopara had put up a valuable 58-run stand for the eight wicket during the second ODI at the same venue which England clinched by three wickets and the performance is only symbolic of a side which is looking to leave behind the disastrous tour of Australia far behind in distant memory.
