The evening saw the BCCI acknowledging the achievements of the Indian players. BCCI chief, N Srinivasan extended heartiest gratitude toall who attended the gala event.

Kapil Dev was felicitated with the Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement award for his impeccable services towards the country.

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was bestowed with the Polly Umrigar award for being the nest international cricketer of 2012-13 season.
