After winning the battle for India in Under-19 World Cup 2012, Unmukt Chand is fighting a new battle for himself.

 

The captain was recently denied promotion in his college, St. Stephen following shortage of attendance.

 

Unmukt might have to lose a year in B.A. programme, but Sports minister, Ajay Maken and Education minister Kapil Sibal are batting for him and are trying their best to convince the Vice Chancellor of the university.

Speaking on the attendance row in a press conference, Chand cleared the air and said that he has no grudges against his college.
