Hong Kong’s top-order duo of skipper Rath and veteran Hayat finished as the second and the third highest run-getters in the Asia Cup 2018 Qualifiers with 209 and 196 runs, respectively and proved to be the bedrock of Hong Kong’s successful campaign after they were shocked by Malaysia in the opener.

While with Rath and Hayat’s recent form could be the game changers for Hong Kong, their inexperience of playing international will be their bane. While Hong Kong did qualify for T20 World Cup in 2016, they won’t be a match for either Pakistan or India.
